  • Exploring the danger of online echo chambers forming without a person consciously noticing through basic interaction with online content, that leads to them existing within an "algorithmic filter bubble" that restricts the range of content and viewpoints made available to them.


  • Understanding that extremist viewpoints are more prevalent than ever for users to unknowingly consume on social media and how this can embolden people to embody extreme views themselves, with minimal understanding of the topic as a whole and maximum ferocity.

  • Define as a group what the term "justice" means to the students before revealing the legal definition. Explore what students believe the purpose of the justice system in the UK is; rehabilitation, punishment, retribution etc..?


  • Critically evaluate if the current justice system in the UK is working in their opinion and what changes do they think would better the outcomes of those who find themselves on the wrong side of the law.

This session has been specifically designed for school leavers (Post-16 or Post-18), and is run as a two hour session  to allow for appropriate depth of content to be covered.


Within this session multiple topics are covered to inform and prepare students for their next stage in life as they become more independent.


Topics covered includes:


  • Health - Registering for health services and booking appointments, the importance of being their own health advocate and self checking, cosmetic and aesthetic procedures; what to consider, and how to address mental health concerns in a supportive manner.
  • Finances - How to make sound financial decisions, consumer rights and how to find support.
  • Employment - Employment models and understanding contracts, how to maintain a positive online reputation and what opportunities a trusted online presence can provide.
  • Travel - Safe travelling in the UK and abroad, cycling, using licensed taxis, getting home from a night out safely and being a responsible driver / passenger.
  • First Aid - Basic first aid including the recovery position, how to contact emergency services and use of what3words, how stop a bleed, and how to perform CPR.

There are three variations of this session that have been designed to best suit the needs of each Key Stage and the decisions they may be making. 


KS3 - Focusing on GCSE option choices and how to make the right choice for them as individuals, regardless of external pressures. Helping students to understand that they do not need to pressure themselves to have their entire career planned out at this point, in order to make good educational decisions.


KS4 - Exploring the range of options available Post-16, including A-levels, BTEC's, T-levels, intermediate & advanced apprenticeships, and the world of work. Focusing on the benefits of each option and how they could help them achieve their wider goals.


KS5 - Exploring the range of options available Post-18, including applying to university, higher & degree apprenticeships, self-employment, and the wider world of work. Focusing on the benefits of each option, including the financial implications involved.
